What is the Research tier?
The Research tier is the primary Spoken Alpha product — per-seat access to per-speaker historical baselines, novel language detection, and behavioral data for every public-company earnings call. What is the Signals add-on?
Research tier clients can add the Signals layer — structured trade-ready outputs built on the behavioral data. This is an optional add-on for funds that want to go beyond the raw behavioral data into structured signal delivery. Available under NDA. Contact sales to discuss scope.
What if I exceed my tier's limit?
Soft-cap with rate limiting — no surprise charges. On the Free tier, requests beyond your monthly quota return
429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header until the next reset. You stay on Free; we don't auto-upgrade or bill you. On paid tiers, we'll reach out before taking action.Can I switch tiers anytime?
Yes. API tier upgrades take effect immediately and are billed pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No contract, no annual minimum on self-serve tiers. Research tier engagements are scoped per-firm — contact us to discuss changes.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. API tier subscribers get a 14-day money-back guarantee on their first invoice, no questions asked. Contact hello@spokenalpha.com within 14 days of your first charge.

What payment methods do you accept?
